Fidelity behavioral is a competency restoration program that provides wrap-aroundwrap around services for clientsclient suffering from mental illness and cognitive impairment. *Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize various clinical modalities and techniques while facilitatingfaclititatiing groups, individual sessions, clinical assessmentsassesments and case management.

*Responsibilities*

- Provide comprehensive, evidence based, trauma informed clinical services for the programs participants on an individual and group milieu basis.

- Provide crisis intervention and support during emotional distress

- Act as a resource for all staff on challenges related to the treatment of participants.

- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals

- Assist in case management activities to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help patients address maladaptive behaviors

- Support patients with grief counseling and PTSD care

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement treatment plans

*Qualifications*

-Must have one of the following certificationscerticifications: CAC, CAS, LAC, LPC, LAPC

Previous experience working in a hospital or mental health facility, or group practice is preferred

- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies

- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes

- Knowledge of behavior management principles and techniques

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Compassionate attitude towards individuals struggling with mental health challenges

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
